Photography that Celebrates Family and Timeless Beauty in Vero Beach

Create Heartfelt Portraits in One of Florida's Most Beautiful Coastal Towns
Vero Beach is a true gem on Florida's Treasure Coast — a place where family memories are made under the shade of ancient oak trees and along the soft, sandy shores. Whether you call Vero Beach home year-round or gather here for special vacations, it’s the perfect setting for portraits that celebrate the heart of your family.
Although Dultmeier Photography is based just south in Stuart, I frequently travel to Vero Beach to work with families who love its timeless beauty and welcoming spirit. Many of my Vero Beach clients tell me they appreciate the care and attention I bring to every session, and I'm honored to help create artwork that feels at home here.
At Dultmeier Photography, I specialize in creating custom family portraits that reflect your unique story — with thoughtful planning, a relaxed experience, and beautiful artwork for your home.
Portrait Sessions Designed Especially for Vero Beach Families
Your portrait session will be customized to reflect the natural beauty of Vero Beach and the spirit of your family. Some favorite locations include the private beaches of John’s Island, the winding trails of Round Island Park, the peaceful oak-lined lanes, Riverside Park, and the Indian River Lagoon.
The area's year-round beautiful weather offers endless opportunities for outdoor sessions, whether you envision a sunlit beach portrait, a storybook moment under oak canopies, or a lively, candid session among blooming gardens.
Every session is carefully planned to feel easy and enjoyable. I guide you through wardrobe planning, location selection, and even installation of your final portraits. Your only job on portrait day is to show up, relax, and enjoy your family.
The Dultmeier Photography Difference
Rather than simply providing digital files and leaving you to finish your project, I guide families through a complete, thoughtful portrait experience — from our first planning conversation to final artwork installation.

FAQs
Here are answers to a few common questions about creating your family portraits here — and how I help make the experience easy and memorable.
-
Some of my favorite settings include the beautiful beaches of Vero Beach, Round Island Park, Riverside Park, and the beautiful oak-lined lanes throughout Vero Beach.
-
Yes, I love helping with this part! During our planning process, I’ll guide you through choosing clothing that not only photographs beautifully, but also complements your family’s style and the colors in your home — especially important when you plan to display your portraits on the walls. If you're working with an interior designer, I'm happy to collaborate with them too, so everything feels cohesive and intentional. My goal is to create portraits that look just as natural in your home as the moments they capture.
-
I usually recommend reaching out 8–10 weeks ahead—especially during the holidays when things get extra busy. But if your family is getting together soon, don’t hesitate to get in touch! I may still be able to fit you in.
-
Every portrait experience is completely customized, so your final investment depends on the type and size of artwork you choose for your home. Most families invest north of $2000 in finished pieces such as wall portraits, handcrafted albums, or folio boxes.
Your session includes much more than just photographs. It starts with a planning consultation, followed by a relaxed, guided session. Afterward, I help you choose your favorite images, then hand-retouch each one to perfection — preserving the natural, honest feel of your family with very natural retouching, making you each the best version of yourself.
From there, we’ll design timeless artwork that’s custom-made using the highest quality materials, crafted to last for generations. I guide you every step of the way, so the process feels thoughtful and enjoyable — and the results are something your family can truly be proud of. To make sure the project is fully complete, installation of your wall portraits is included.

Absolutely. I have photographed family groups of 40 people or more! My background as a photojournalist and a wedding photographer means I work well with all ages (and love capturing generational portraits). Many of my clients plan portrait sessions when grandparents, adult children, or extended family are in town. Whether it’s a holiday gathering, a milestone celebration, or a rare weekend together, I will make it easy for everyone to feel at home in front of the camera. Your family will be surprised at how much fun they have together during the photography session!
-
Yes, I do — and it’s one of my clients’ favorite parts of the experience! Once your portraits are finished and framed, I personally oversee the professional installation in your home. I’ll help you decide on the best placement based on your space and lighting, so your portraits not only look beautiful, but feel like they’ve always belonged there. No guesswork, no measuring tape stress — just artwork that’s perfectly placed and ready to enjoy every day.
