Family Portrait Photographer for the Treasure Coast
Natural portraits that bring out the best in you and your loved ones

Classic and Authentic Portraits on the beautiful Treasure Coast of Florida
From the breezy beaches of Vero and Hutchinson Island to the quiet riverfront neighborhoods of Palm City and Sewall’s Point, the Treasure Coast is rich with scenery, story, and family legacy.
I’m Diane Dultmeier, a longtime Stuart-based photographer, and I’ve been photographing families all across the Treasure Coast for over 25 years. Whether your home is in Sailfish Point, your grandparents are gathering in John’s Island, or you're planning portraits in your backyard in Jensen Beach — I’ll help you create meaningful, lasting artwork in the place that means most to you.
Portrait Sessions Designed for Treasure Coast Families
One of the joys of living and working on the Treasure Coast is the incredible variety of portrait locations — and the easygoing, family-centered lifestyle that makes portrait sessions so relaxed and personal.
Some favorite Treasure Coast session spots include:
Private docks along the St. Lucie River in Palm City, Sewall’s Point, and Stuart
Windswept beaches on Hutchinson Island, Jupiter, and Vero Beach
The scenic walking paths and oak canopies of John’s Island, Hobe Sound, and Jensen Beach
Lush family backyards and farms in Palm City Farms
Local parks like Riverside Park, Halpatiokee, and Justin Wilson Park
I help plan every detail of your session — from clothing and color palettes to choosing the best location for light, comfort, and connection.
The Dultmeier Photography Difference

How It Works
1
Let’s Talk About Your Family and What’s Possible
Talk with Diane to learn more about the custom portrait experience and get answers to any questions you have. This is a relaxed, no-pressure chat where we’ll get to know your family, explore artwork ideas for your home, and start shaping a session that feels just right for you.
2
Create Meaningful Portraits, Together
With a thoughtful plan in place, your session will feel relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. We’ll capture portraits that reflect your family’s true connection—then review them together as we choose your favorites. I’ll create mock-ups to show how your portraits could look on your walls, helping you decide on sizes and placement that complement your home and style.
3
Celebrate Family with Artful Reminders of What Matters Most
Once your favorite portraits are selected, you can simply relax. Every detail of your custom artwork is handled with care—from professional retouching to archival printing, framing, and delivery. I personally oversee the entire process to ensure everything arrives beautifully finished and ready for installation.
When your portrait art is thoughtfully placed in your home, the finished pieces add warmth, meaning, and beauty to your space—turning your house into a home that reflects what matters most to you.
FAQs
Serving families across the Treasure Coast, I’m proud to offer a seamless, full-service experience for Sewall’s Point families. Here are a few questions I often receive:
-
Yes! I frequently photograph families in Vero Beach, Sewall’s Point, Palm City, Stuart, John’s Island, Jupiter, and beyond. I’ll come to your home, dock, beach house, or any location that’s special to you. As we plan your session, we will talk about this.
-
Absolutely. During your consultation, I’ll help you select a spot that suits your style, family energy, and final artwork plans — whether it’s a beach, your home, or a hidden local gem.
-
Yes, I love helping with this part! During our planning process, I’ll guide you through choosing clothing that not only photographs beautifully, but also complements your family’s style and the colors in your home — especially important when you plan to display your portraits on the walls. If you're working with an interior designer, I'm happy to collaborate with them too, so everything feels cohesive and intentional. My goal is to create portraits that look just as natural in your home as the moments they capture.
-
I usually recommend reaching out 8–10 weeks ahead—especially during the holidays when things get extra busy. But if your family is getting together soon, don’t hesitate to get in touch! I may still be able to fit you in.
-
Every portrait experience is completely customized, so your final investment depends on the type and size of artwork you choose for your home. Most families invest north of $2000 in finished pieces such as wall portraits, handcrafted albums, or folio boxes. Please visit the Portrait Experience page for more information.
Your session includes much more than just photographs. It starts with a planning consultation, followed by a relaxed, guided session. Afterward, I help you choose your favorite images, then hand-retouch each one to perfection — preserving the natural, honest feel of your family with very natural retouching, making you each the best version of yourself.
From there, we’ll design timeless artwork that’s custom-made using the highest quality materials, crafted to last for generations. I guide you every step of the way, so the process feels thoughtful and enjoyable — and the results are something your family can truly be proud of. To make sure the project is fully complete, installation of your wall portraits is included.

-
Absolutely. I have photographed family groups of 40 people or more! My background as a photojournalist and a wedding photographer means I work well with all ages (and love capturing generational portraits). Many of my clients plan portrait sessions when grandparents, adult children, or extended family are in town. Whether it’s a holiday gathering, a milestone celebration, or a rare weekend together, I will make it easy for everyone to feel at home in front of the camera. Your family will be surprised at how much fun they have together during the photography session!
-
Yes, I do — and it’s one of my clients’ favorite parts of the experience! Once your portraits are finished and framed, I personally oversee the professional installation in your home. I’ll help you decide on the best placement based on your space and lighting, so your portraits not only look beautiful, but feel like they’ve always belonged there. No guesswork, no measuring tape stress — just artwork that’s perfectly placed and ready to enjoy every day.
