I bring a calm, low-pressure energy to the session and gently guide them without making it feel forced or awkward. By the end, most of them say it was way better than they expected—and parents are always surprised by how many great expressions we capture.

We’ll have a planning meeting before the session to brainstorm things that are important to your teen–hopefully your senior will be there too! Ideas include their car or boat, their dog, sports gear, cheerleading uniform, dance shoes/costume, musical instrument, artwork, books, or a location that feels meaningful. The goal is to create portraits that feel like them—not just a generic photo shoot.
