Beyond the Standard Senior Picture: A Custom Portrait Experience for Pine School and St. Edward’s Families

You Have a Choice—and That Changes Everything

Most seniors are sent to a specific photography company that offers a menu of poses and backgrounds—and sometimes even outdoor locations. But no matter how many options are available, the process is still designed for efficiency, not personalization.

The Pine School and St. Edward’s take a more meaningful approach.

Rather than assigning a standard studio, they ask families to provide a professional portrait of their own choosing. That one shift gives you the freedom to work with a photographer who will take the time to get to know your senior, plan a thoughtful session, and create portraits that are both beautiful and personal.

We Know the Requirements—And Handle the Details for You

You don’t need to stress about specifications or formatting—we’ve got that covered.

At Dultmeier Photography, we’re familiar with the guidelines and will ensure your selected portrait meets the yearbook criteria. We’ll prepare and deliver the digital file in the correct format and by the required deadline—so you can check that task off your list with confidence.

Start With a Personalized Planning Meeting

Every session begins with a relaxed planning meeting—either over Zoom or in person. This is our chance to chat about what makes your teen unique, go over wardrobe and location ideas, and explore meaningful touches we might include: surfboards, sports gear, musical instruments, their car, their favorite books, or even a photo with their best friend or significant other.

Although I’m based in Stuart, I regularly travel to Hobe Sound, Vero Beach, and surrounding areas for senior sessions.

Summer Is Ideal—But We Can Likely Fit You In

Yearbook deadlines for both schools tend to fall early in the school year—often September. To meet that deadline without stress, summer is the best time to book your session. You’ll have more scheduling flexibility, and we’ll have time to create and deliver everything comfortably.

Still traveling? That’s okay. We can likely fit you in once you return—but reach out NOW to reserve a spot.

Not Just a Yearbook Photo—A Legacy for Your Home

Yes, the yearbook image matters—and we’ll make sure it’s handled with care.

But the portraits that will truly stay with you aren’t the ones printed in a school publication. They’re the ones you’ll hang in your home. The ones that remind you every day who your senior was during this unforgettable year.

Our most popular senior portrait products are custom wall portraits and our beautifully designed Storybook Albums. These pieces showcase your teen’s style, confidence, and story in a way that lasts far beyond graduation day.

And let’s be honest—senior year flies by. One minute you’re scheduling portraits, the next you’re helping them pack for college or leave home. These portraits will be there even when the house feels a little quieter. They will bring joy, connection, and a sense of presence long after your senior has moved on to their next chapter.

The Senior Portrait experience includes:

  • Your chosen yearbook image, formatted and submitted to the school

  • Fun, relaxed portraits that reflect your teen’s real personality

  • Optional images with best friends, pets, or meaningful props

Celebrate the Whole Family—Because Everything Is About to Change

Graduation is a turning point—not just for your teen, but for your whole family.

That’s why every senior session includes a complimentary family and/or sibling session.

No added fee. No pressure. Just the opportunity to capture what matters most—before schedules change and everyone starts moving in different directions.

Whether this is your first graduate or your last, this season is worth preserving. These portraits often become some of the most meaningful ones we create together.
