Long summer days make it easier to fit in a Stuart, Florida photo session

I can't believe school is starting! I always feel sad this time of year because summer goes by too fast--and it's another year of my kids' childhoods gone. A milestone passed.

Sadly, I don't take enough pictures of my own kids because I am a busy mom and because I just want to enjoy them and cherish the moments together, not "document" every passing moment. Plus, as a photographer, I am picky about the images. I can't help it. Luckily, I grabbed a few images of them at the beach a couple of weeks ago after on a perfect summer evening, after a session with some special clients. I am so glad. There was a breeze and the weather was perfect. We even said, as we walked to the car, that it felt "cold." Yes, we are Floridians. The cool summer breeze off the ocean was soothing and refreshing.

This time of year, the days are long and we have plenty of time, even after work and school, for you to relax a little bit and then get to the beach for a session around 6:30 or 7 p.m. for the beautiful golden light.

In the Portfolio section of the website, you can see images of families and kids in more traditional portrait clothing. I love these images of my boys just hanging out at the beach and would be happy to do a session like this with your kids, but most families probably will do better in casual pants and top.
