You can have great family photos in Stuart, Florida, even when the kids are older
We can be hesitant about doing family portraits no matter what ages our kids are.
In this family, the mom wasn’t sure about having family portraits done, even though her kids are grown and not likely to have a toddler-style meltdown.
"We aren't the kind of people who do family portraits," she said, adding, "And I'm not really photogenic."

She also said they hadn’t really focused on that too much except for when the kids were little. Now that they were grown, not only would it be a challenge to get them all together at the same time, she wasn’t sure if having portraits was all that important, since her kids are young adults.
Well, it WAS tough to get everyone together, mostly because of work schedules. But, in the end, we pulled it off. She and her husband were thrilled with the images, which we created in their Sewall’s Point backyard, making it easier and more personal.
Their family room is now a much cozier, more personal space, with a large family portrait (custom-framed 20x40 inch canvas) and a portrait of their three young adult kids together (custom-framed 20x24 inch canvas).
