Guide to apps, games and websites that inspire and enrich

I don’t know about you, but I struggle with how much time my kids should be allowed to spend with their electronics. How much is too much and is it okay if it’s an educational thing? I do know that they enjoy interacting with the computer, the Iphone, the Ipad and the Ipod (lots of I’s in our house). I feel pretty good about if it’s an education thing and even better if it happens to be fun and educational at the same time. Just yesterday I got this guide from Common Sense Media that has lots of great ideas in it. Check it out and you can download it free. I hope it adds to your lives!

Back-to-school time brings different experiences for each child. Some kids can’t wait to master new concepts. Others have a harder time easing back in. No matter what your kids are like, you’ll find media here to spark their imagination and cement knowledge. Discover inventive apps for kids struggling with addition, fluency games for advanced readers, websites to help with social skills, and more. Liven up back-to-school time with these learning-rich gems.
